Muara Enim, lamanqu.com – The gathering event was established between the Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of the South Sumatra Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) and the Muara Enim Regency government ranks, and ulamas took place at Balai Agung Serasan Sekundang (BASS), Tuesday (30/10) yesterday. The Regent Ir H Ahmad Yani MM and H Juarsah SH, Chief of Police Muara Enim, AKPB Afner Juwono, and all sub-district and Ministry of Religion were present.
The MUI of South Sumatra was attended by general secretary Kyai H Ayik Farid Alaydrus, Chairperson of the Da’wah Commission H M Lutfi Izudin, and H Mahmudin (deputy secretary). Board of MUI Muara Enim, Kyai H Denawi and staff.
The Regent of Muara Enim, Ir. H. Ahmad Yani MM, in his speech was pleased to establish the visit of the board of directors of the South Sumatra MUI and the Muara Enim Regency MUI. His party requested the support of the board of management of the MUI in South Sumatra in order to realize the religious Muara Enim community.
Furthermore, Ahmad Yani asked the scholars to maximize their roles and functions, standing in the forefront in establishing the joint moral, ethical, and spiritual life of the nation and state. Then the MUI as providing fatwa and advice to Muslims, the government regarding religious and community issues.
“I hope that we can make this gathering activity the right moment in building Muslim Harmony, especially in Muara Enim Regency,” Yani said.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the South Sumatra MUI was represented by the general secretary, Kyai H Ayik Farid Alaydrus, said that this was the first time since Ir H Ahamad Yani MM and H Juarsah SH were installed as regents and deputy regents of Muara Enim. He hoped that through this meeting it could strengthen friendship and synergize the MUI program with the Muara Enim District Government program.
“We are very impressed with his vision of the first mission of Religious, such as his attention to the MUI. Hopefully this leadership can continue for up to ten years and become leaders who prosper the community,” said Ayik Farid. (Eko)
